We are located in Gahanna, OH just minutes north of the Columbus International Airport at 817 N. Hamilton Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Take Hamilton Road north of I-270 approximately 4 miles to Route 62. GCA is on the left as you cross Route 62 accross from the Heartland Bank.

Admission to Gahanna Christian Academy

We hope we have piqued your interest in Gahanna Christian Academy! You are to be commended for taking the time to make an informed, prayerful decision about one of the most important aspects of parenting -- your child's education.
(Deuteronomy 6:7-9). Whether you are interested in GCA Elementary School, Middle School or High School, you will discover a faculty and administration that puts all of education in a Christian perspective. Our aim is to provide Christ-centered learning that demands the best of our students in every aspect. We expect high standards in all areas, but most importantly we hope to produce young men and women with integrity, Christ-like character and a Christian perspective.

We currently have 180 instructional days at GCA and our school day is from 8:15 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. for Elementary and 8:20 a.m. until 3:20 p.m. for Middle School and High School. Uniforms are required at all grade levels.

If you are a member of a Christian church and believe that GCA is a school you are looking for, we encourage you to apply. Once all of the application materials are received, an interview will be arranged for eligible families.

Gahanna Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school. GCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, or any other basis prohibited by federal and state law, in administration of its admission policies, educational policies, athletics, and any other school-administered programs. As a Christian school, GCA does require parental and student attendance and involvement in the church of their choice. A Pastoral Recommendation is required prior to admission.

Admissions Process

Application Form
Please complete and return it to GCA with a check in the amount of $100 made payable to Gahanna Christian Academy to cover the Application and Testing Fees. The Application Fee is non-refundable.

Pastoral Recommendation
Please have your pastor complete this form and mail it directly to Gahanna Christian Academy.

Administrator Recommendation
Please have the school that your child is presently attending complete this form and mail it directly to Gahanna Christian Academy.

OUR TUITION INCLUDES....

Our tuition includes many fees and programs that may be charged for separately at other Christian/private schools; including facility fees, book fees, registration fees, classroom consumable materials fees, all lab fees, and technology fees.  Please call (614) 471-9270 or e-mail us at GCA@gahannachristianacademy.com, for additional tuition information. 

Financial Assistance Policy

2005 – 2006 School Year

Gahanna Christian Academy is able to provide a limited amount of financial assistance to families currently enrolled at GCA. The GCA Financial Assistance Program is funded through donations received from supporters of GCA. The process for granting financial assistance is administered by the GCA Administrator and approved by the GCA School Board. An application form is available from the GCA Administrative Office or through this web site ( Financial Assistance Form).

The Parent's Part Is Important Too!

God has given parents the responsibility for the discipline and instruction of their children. They are to train each one diligently in God's truth. (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 11:18-21)

Parents who select Gahanna Christian Academy give our faculty and staff authority to teach their children during the day. The school assists parents in teaching truth to their children and in training them according to biblical standards. (Psalm 34:11; Luke 6:40)

Parents enrolling their children in GCA invest authority in the school to discipline their children as necessary. They agree that they will cooperate and discipline their children in the home as needed. (Deuteronomy 6:6, 7; Proverbs 29:15, 17; Hebrews 12:11).
