Gahanna Christian Academy is certified as an I-20 School and accepts international students based on standard educational testing criteria. Every year, foreign students come from a variety of countries to the United States to student at Gahanna Christian Academy. International students typically apply to attend high school on a J-1 or F-1 Visa (www.ice.gov/sevis/). However, it is possible for younger middle school students to attend Gahanna Christian Academy if they are proficient in English and have passed the necessary testing requirements.

Gahanna Christian Academy is based in Gahanna, OH (www.gahanna.gov/) which is a close suburb of the capital city of Columbus, OH (www.experiencecolumbus.com).

Gahanna Christian Academy is certified by the Ohio State Department of Education (www.education.ohio.gov/) as a non-public school. Classes, credits, and diplomas are recognized and accepted by other private and public schools. colleges, and universities.

The GCA International Program provides a well-rounded college preparatory, Christian-based curriculum. Our program is designed to prepare international students to be global leaders and strong character and grounded moral ethics. Our teachers work with each student to help improve English proficiency, foundational core development, testing knowledge, and assimilation into American society.

At Gahanna Christian Academy, we test and interview all incoming students to ensure proper placement in grade level and course placement. Integrated into the GCA International Program is a strong English as a Second Language (ESL) class which helps students meet the expectations of future college coursework and supports their mastery of the English language. Students are encouraged to grow through Christ-centered curriculum that builds there vocabulary through reading and writing.
