Why Choose GCA?
Since 1980, Gahanna Christian Academy has served as an extension of the home and a partner with the church in providing Christian education. Presently, students come to GCA from over 100 churches representing many different denominations. Located just north of the intersection of Hamilton Road and State Route 62 in Gahanna, Ohio, GCA continues to serve a growing student body.
Students from Christian homes, whose parents profess faith in Christ and are active members of an evangelical church, are eligible for enrollment. Admission is based upon a written application, an interview with the building principal, and the recommendation of the pastor of the applicant's church.
All teaching and administrative staff have graduated from accredited colleges and universities. Many of our staff have advanced degrees. They are employed on the basis of their own personal profession of faith, commitment to educational excellence in their teaching, and a love of working with young people.
Gahanna Christian Academy was founded on the concept of parental involvement. Our school is an extension of Christian family life, and we take seriously our obligation to be partners with parents in providing the best possible education for our students. From kindergarten to high school graduation, GCA is dedicated to bringing every student to his or her highest potential: academically, socially, and spiritually.
As partners, GCA encourages all parents to become involved in their child's education through participation in a number of volunteer opportunities made available throughout the year.

THE PARENT'S PART IS IMPORTANT TOO!
God has given parents the responsibility for the discipline and instruction of their children. They are to train each one diligently in God's truth. (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 11:18-21)
Parents who select Gahanna Christian Academy give our faculty and staff authority to teach their children during the day. The school assists parents in teaching truth to their children and in training them according to biblical standards. (Psalm 34:11; Luke 6:40)
Parents enrolling their children in GCA invest authority in the school to discipline their children as necessary. They agree that they will cooperate and discipline their children in the home as needed. (Deuteronomy 6:6, 7; Proverbs 29:15, 17; Hebrews 12:11).
