2014 – 2015
Your student(s) may qualify for an EdChoice scholarship through House Bill 530. Eligibility is determined by attendance and/or assignment to a public school building which has been rated in “academic emergency” or “academic watch” for two of the past three years.
If your nonpublic school charges tuition that exceeds the maximum amount of the EdChoice Scholarship and if the student’s family income is at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines, by law, your school cannot charge the family the difference. If the student’s family income is above 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines, the family may choose, the either pay the tuition or carry out volunteer service at your nonpublic school in lieu of cash payment for tuition.
EdChoice applications are only accepted Feb. 18th - March 15, 2014.
EdChoice students must meet all Gahanna Christian Academy’s admission requirements.
Please see the New Applicant tabs for directions on applying to GCA.
