MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS
JUNIOR VARSITY GIRLS
Coach, Jamie Jacques, is returning to the coaching team, after a perfect 17-0 Middle School season, last year. Coach Jacques, heading up the JV squad this year, is assisted by her husband, David. They have 2 children; Caitlyn, who is playing JV Volleyball and Matthew, who plays Middle School Soccer and Basketball, at GCA. David works in the MS/HS office, here at GCA.
VARSITY GIRLS
Nathan Kirk, is a 12 season veteran, coach of both girls' and boys' volleyball. This is his 6th season coaching GCA High School Girls. Coach Kirk and his wife Anna have 4 daughters. Kayla graduated from GCA in 2008, Alissa in 2010, Sara 2012 and Jenna is a sophomore.
Our varsity team had a n 18-7 season record with two wins in the District Tournament, ending our season in the District Semifinals. As a team, we have raised money in support of Breast Cancer research for the past five years. This season our donation to "Dig Pink" was over $4,000. We had five seniors on our varsity squad, three who have been in the GCA athletic program since Middle School. It is a pleasure to see our student athletes thrive through out their MS/HS athletic careers. Some of our GCA graduates are equipped with the skills to continue their sports careers in college.
